Flores is the name of the capital city of of the State called Petén in Guatemala.
This painting was made of a picture a took during a trip I did through Central América at the end of the summer in 2014. Not long after that, I stayed a couple of months in Dover, England, were I had the time to go through my pictures and turned them into paintings. This was the best I got in those dificult months were the weather was cold and wet and the days very short.
