yES, i AM INTO THAT KIND OF STUFF

And I haven’t always been into it. Like a lot of people I thought it was all not “true”, that there were all just people saying back to you what you wanted to hear and of course that happens, sadly, but is not the case of everyone who practices Tarot, Astrology and other kind of esoteric/espiritual techniques and philosophies.
At the end of the day, whatever is what you believe or not, first of all, try it out for yourself and prove it right or wrong. But let it be something you have proof and not just something you believe blindly without even knowing what it is all about. Wink.


It happened in 2018 that I started feeling the need to try to learn new things, get any kind of new info and experiences and I stumbled upon a podcast that brought me back to the old occult stuff that I used to read as I was a teenager. But this time I didn’t just want to read, I try some stuff out, like Tarot, astrology and other things. It ended up being not as scary as one might think and also very interesting and expanding, as it sparked in me the desire of exploring my inner self from an unorthodox way. Somehow also, this brought me back to spirituality and religion, but this time I do try to find my own way in it.

Since I have started this journey of new learnings and inner exploration, new ways of living and experiencing my life and relationships have opened for me, allowing me and encouraging me to become more truthful to myself and others, as also allowing the flow of inspiration to get wider and more meaningful.

THe High Priestesses

This is a very dear ongoing-on flowing proyect I am part of with a very dear friend of mine Ale Montoya who is also a magical weirdo/artist/spiritual family member. We can’t really say when this idea started because somehow started with us when we got together and started tripping out about the Universe, Tarot, Astrology, Life and all the things we were going through back then and until now, but I can surely say it came to me the “insight” of making a podcast called “The High Priestesses” and share everything we were learning with those who relate to what we were experiencing. We started offering Tarot readings to strangers on the public for dontation during the Documenta XV in Kassel and we had a very positive coming out of the magical closet. We appear/were mentioned in the news paper two times (omg!) and were also officially part of the Documenta program.
Since then we still taking part in some events, this time with boundaries stablished (guidelines) for ourselves and others and we hope in the future to find ourselves investing more time in this beautiful proyect.
So far the podcast hasn’t been able to come be born, since we are both very busy at the moment and being an artist and an inmigrant at the same time requires a lot of extra effort that being an artist itself alreadyn takes.

But it is very important to mention, not to let it fade and also so show and share some of the beautiful and fun experiences that came out of this baby of ours ♥

Our first Documenta venue event!

This one time I had to go by myself, Ale was in Berlin doing Berlin things. The very special part of this event was the posibility to support ELAS, which is a collective formed by latinamerican women who are building comunity and supporting inmigrant women who are new to Kassel. They give them orientation and support in getting acquainted with the city in regards of social and burocratic matters

Even at the moment we are not so active in tis project, we are still very much open to participate in events o even create new events ourselves! This are some of the pictures of the flyers we did for each event during the Documenta and some sticker designs. Yes!! Stickers, we gave them as a way to let people know about our proyect, about what we do and we would like to expand on. Funny as we may say, we didn’t participate with our art by itself but another form of art, the divinatory kind ;)

Our main idea with this project and with this activity was to see what would happen if we bring something like this so bluntly out in the public eye, in Germany, let alone in Kassel! And it turned out to be very well received, surprisely. Even though Tarot is an european invention, it is not a mainstream thing (although that seems to be changing) and we were kind of expecting a backlash but by the contrary people were curious and open and we had a lot of fun!

The participation in the Documenta went very well, that much that we eventually got invited to other events, and we still doing our magic as often as life allows it.
